Brand new brewer here, just got my first batch into the fermentation stage yesterday...

I have 12 beer bottles that I drank a handful of months ago, gave them a quick rinse and put them back in the box. If I sanitize them with my sanitizer, will they be ok to bottle my brew in? Or do I need to just get new bottles? I'm just trying to be careful so I don't ruin my very first batch.

You can definitely use them, though consider a better washing than a quick rinse.

I soak and clean them in a sink full of OxyClean (helps remove labels too), then into the dishwasher so I can get a high temp rinse/dry. A quick spray of StarSan around the lip while upside-down and they're ready to go.

As long as they're properly cleaned you should be good to go. People (myself included) reuse bottles on a regular basis. As said, just make sure they're pop top, not screw top. Get yourself some Oxiclean Free (the unscented stuff) or better yet PBW, and give them a soak overnight. Will clean the inside out properly so it can be sanitized properly with no scrubbing needed, and should take any labels right off too (some labels come off more easily than others).
