Can I still use these malts?

I was digging around in my cellar looking for a bag of malts/extract i put down there and couldn't find it. Turns out I never took it out of my trunk when I bought it.

Can I still use the malts and or the liquid extract?

How long were they in your trunk?

Did they get wet? If they stayed dry, then they will be fine, assuming you bought them in 2012.

In the trunk for about a month and a half.

Stayed dry, bought and put right into the trunk.

Try them anyway....can't hurt...I've used grains that were in the refrigerator for >6 months and beer turned out fine.....just use viable yeast
