Can I get everything ready..??

Im getting ready to bottle. Can I move the wort over to the bottling bucket, add the sugar and then cover it while my bottles are in the dishwasher getting sanitized by the hot water...? Or should I wait until the bottles are done then do the transfer and add the sugar...

I'm sure you could do either, but I do the latter so I expose the beer to fewer dust bunnies.

If you're talking about 30 minutes or so, I'd say you're fine mixing now and then covering. I use to mix in my priming sugar, cover, and then sanitize my bottles and get them all lined up before filling. That usually took about 30 minutes. Things turned out just fine.
