Cool - this is gonna be my first attempt at mashing in my grain bag/cooler setup. :)

Some notes I've been taking from reading threads this week:

-- Preheat the tun with hot water first,
-- Let it rest 'til I'm at my strike temp
-- Add grains, stir well,
-- Check after 10 minutes, then leave it

Then I plan on trying the teabag sparge technique - but I also think I wanna grab about a gallon or so of my sparge water in a jug to pour over the top of the grain bag as well.

Wish me luck!

My plan is to take a personal brew day from work and start early - so there's no reason I couldn't do 90 if it will benefit me in the long run. :)

Indeed, I don't see any malts in that bill that require a protein rest.

@150-153F range, 75 minute mash ought to be enough. Unless you want more down, --uhhh drinking time.
