Hi, I am making a stepped starter and am currently crashing the starter in the fridge overnight.

I was going to wake up tomorrow and make the next step and add it to the starter so that it can get going and be ready for brewing on Sunday, but I found out I have to be up and out the door early tomorrow.

Can I boil the wort for the next step, chill it overnight, add it to the still-cool yeast (they will be the same temp, but at fridge temp.. is this okay?), then through it on the stirplate and let it get to room temperature while aerating?

Thanks! And I can add the cold wort to the cold, decanted yeast just fine and let it gradually come to room temp on the stir plate, yeah?
