Greetings from TN.

I've been homebrewing wine for about 5 yrs, so not a nub but still learning everyday!
so I've recently started using campden tablets for preserving my wine (it never use to stay around long enough to go bad :)
But I'm getting like sediment/sludge from it settling on the bottom, I've done the research and can find anything on it, is this just normal or what? it bugs the crap out of me seeing it!
I crush it up with a pill crusher, stir it good but it never dissolves?

I used to see small bits of the tablets that I couldn't get to break up. Now I use one of those things you pack the grounds for expresso with

. I crush the tablets with a pill crusher then just kind of swirl the expresso tamper on the bottom of a measuring cup with 1/2 cup of water for a minute or so. Works very well.
