Found an old keg. I'm new to brewing so I don't know much but was wondering if it good to use. It's a 7.75 gallon keg from schlitz brewing co. Milwaukee wis 8-61.

turn it into a boil kettle! I would not use it b/c of the obvious danger of exploding and an early death, but it'd make a good boil kettle for small batches or a mini bbq. :)

Looks like a aluminum keg???

Ya. It's aluminum. One hole on top. One hole on the side.
Don't think it would be good for a pot since it is aluminum and has a hole it the side.
Date looks to be 1961 so I most like can't find parts to seal it up and make it functional anyway.??
