Hi folks, so I'm finally getting all the pieces together to create an E-HERMS setup. In looking around at the different element types it seems many favor the Camco 02963 5500W elements.

Any of you guys use these? My real question is what are the dimensions of the element from the base of the mounting plug where the element would enter the HLT or BK to the tip?

I'm using converted kegs for my setup and just want to make sure these kinds of elements will fit in the ~ 14" diameter. The specs I've found on these elements online say they are ~17" long but I suspect that is from the wiring lug side to the tip.

Also, for those that use these, how do you like them? Any reason NOT to use them?

Thanks, Matt.

Beautiful!!! Looks like that will just fit in my sankey keg. Glad today was payday...think I'll order up a couple!

How do you like using that element? Any cons?

Thanks, Matt.
