Hi all,
I'm putting together a recipe this weekend for a Belgian IPA and will be using Calypso and El Dorado hops for bittering, flavor, and aroma. However, I've never used these hops before, so I'm trying to get a sense of the ratio I should use for each.
I've read a bit that Calypso hops don't produce much in the way of aroma or flavor unless a decent amount is used and perhaps the same with the El Dorado. I've read elsewhere that this may not be the case and these hops produce plenty of flavor and aroma. Can anyone confirm their experience with either of these hops?
