Butterscotch Root Beer

Hey all,
About a month ago I tried a brand pop called Darn Good Butterscotch Root Beer. In a word it was awesome, but I can't help but be intrigued with brewing root beer. Never done a soda before, just beers but has anyone ever come across a recipe for butterscotch root beer?

I've heard of Dang! That's Good sodas, but I've never tried any of them before.

I would think some brown sugar and some butter flavor in a typical root beer recipe would do the trick. Or you could go the butterbeer route.
