Have you ever compared these two hops? if you add at 60minutes boil can you distinguish them?

I readed that columbus has a little bit more citrus notes but not as high as in Cascade?

I brewed an IPA with S04, Magnum hops GR and Columbus hops US, how should i call it? American-German-English IPA :D

Im thinkig put it to ferment at lower temp to reduce esters to call it American hehe what do you think?

It is difficult, perhaps impossible to detect the difference in hops used at a 60 minute boil aside from bitterness. at 30 minutes, flavor comes into play. at 15 minutes, aroma comes into play. so, depending on what hop you used at what time in the boil would be the primary determination of the bitterness/aroma/flavor profile.

I believe Rebel Brewer carries Bullion if you are having trouble finding them.

oh okay that right, i used the columbus hops for bittering and for aroma the magnum gr so the profile could be more european :D

................My only experience with bullion was a variety that was 5-6 AA, WAY under columbus.

This was a while ago and could have been a LHBS mis-mark, but my brew didn't come out more bittter than expected.
