Speaking generally, it would take an idiot to lower prices on a product that people get on line 5 hours before opening in order to buy. I'm actually surprised beer prices on limited release stuff hasn't gone up even more. For every person that won't buy at a $30 price point, there are 5 others more than willing to take their place at a $50 price point. Sad... :(... but true.

I wholeheartedly agree. Can't say I'd price it differently.

Lost Abbey certainly makes a killing with Veritas and Cable Car. But then we have breweries at the other end of the spectrum, like de Garde, who price beers much more in favor of the consumer. Those are the breweries I'll support for a lifetime.

Probably shouldn't have started down this road. I have a lot of respect for Nate and the owners at Bullfrog. More power to them. Keep pumping out world class sours.

I 100% agree about Nate and Bullfrog... everyone should keep in mind. We live in America. Wanting to make money from selling a great product is not a bad or shameful thing.

Why does this have to be on the same weekend as Jackie O's release?

If i still lived in MD, I would definitely attend again. Had a blast last year and the release was very chill, i suppose it helps that Williamsport is in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, driving from MA would violate my "no driving to beer events that are over 4 hours away" rule.

That is a very good rule.
