I drank 2 bottles so far and would rather drink a gallon of that than 3oz of any of their sours they have released in recent memory.

That's not saying much. Hoarders Cuvee is top 5 worst beers they have ever made IMO. The fact that won a competition offends me deeply.

This list is ******** as 7 Swans is one of the best Bruery beers period!

Love that ******* beer so much I bought a case when it came out and it's drinking fantastically.

Just to express my rage with this list I shall open one tonight!

Regular 5 Golden Rings having almost 3.7 just demonstrates how difficult it is to get a beer on Untappd below a 3.5. That beer was absolutely abysmal and one of the worst uninfected/unspoiled (in the sense of, "this beer probably tastes as was intended, it's not unknowingly ******") that I can recall in recent memory.

There's no way regular Partridge is a 4.137. It would have been lucky to have been that when it came out, much less today.

If 7 Swans gets re-released, would anyone mind gopickitupformebro? I feel dumb enough asking without having to actually post an ISO for it, but I will if necessary. *shrug*

I could buy it now but likely wont be at the brewery until Jan or Feb. Message me if interested I have no problem doing it for cost + label (no need to send a thank you box)

The Bruery 12 days sale inspired me to pop open some of the bottles they were selling that I already had tucked away since their original release.

BA 4 calling was a favorite at one time. Its kinda drowned out now. Neutral alcohol, slight gingerbread cookie thing along with toasted coconut. Not bad, but not the brew I remember loving.

BA 7 swans is a nice change of pace for its simplicity. Pretty solid quad wrapped in that extra alcohol from the barrel. Lots of candy appeal to this ones nose.

BA 6 geese. Perhaps the beer I was least thrilled about drinking due to folks dick making the Bruery for selling an "infected" vintage beer. This one says right on the label that it is tart from the cape gooseberry addition. I thought this one was pretty damn awesome. I have no idea what gooseberry tastes like but I felt it very similar to cranberry with bourbon and a nice oak spiciness.

5 "Hot Gas-o-lines"

Back when that beer was released a local spot that a buddy owned got a cask. I can't remember if it was just the beer on cask, or if they added more pineapples in the cask but it was actually really good. Then again we're talking about my 2012 palate so who knows if I would have liked it as much now.

The rum barrel version was pretty legit...but again, see above caveat. Bourbon BA version was definitely hot gas o lines

Hey all,
I am the orderer for a group of 4 of us that split a RS membership, and I totally lost track of days for this allocation period and didn't get the order in for everyone. If anyone picked up an extra Vindictive in the sale they'd be willing to part with, please let me know! I would be happy to trade or send $$. Thank you!!

I'd guess there's probably a good chance that there will be additional allocations on Monday.

Someone please tell me if a. my palate is ****** b. I have a gutter palate or 3. I'm misremembering how BT tastes but has BT just turned into an old ale or barleywine?

The '15 and '16 is more like a typical Bruery old are or barleywine than an imperial stout. I tend to think it's more that I misremember how BT used to be but I'm getting old and can't remember ****. Someone help me.

If it's anything like 2016's Chocolate Rain and Mocha Wednesday, I'm not surprised. Glad I didn't re-up.

I never had OG black tuesday but every bottle of it ive drank post 2011 along with every bottle of CR, MW, GM, etc has never felt like a stout to me. None of them are "black and roasty" which are indicadive of what comes to mind when I think stout, instead they are brown to dark brown and very old ale-ish/barleywine-like as you described. So no, its not just you.

I wish I had a better recollection of the BT vert from Woodshop, but memory has failed.

brown to dark brown

Picture below is Black Tuesday before it goes into barrels. Looked and drank like an old ale/quad. ****** picture found on Untappd. Event was 2015 so base for 2016 BT.
