late or ever

Ive been known to intihar BT without putting my glass down.

This discussion today inspired me to open a 2013 grey monday that was hanging out in my fridge. I never really got whatever the hazelnuts are suppose to bring to this brew but I can say this 2013 seems sweeter than my prior exposures to GM. Also, there appears to be an oil slick across the top of the brew preventing anything resembling a head to form.

Wife just started busting warm Christmas cookies out the oven.... im resisting the urge to finish this bottle and grab a BT or CR.

Sometimes I wish that people's weights were displayed next to their posts. I am not a small man, but I certainly don't have the mass to handle a lot of these claims.

155lbs at 6'....killing a bottle of BT solo in 2 hours is easy.

Although lately it has been roughly 30-50oz of BAVSS in like 3.5ish hours a few times a week.

I might just be delusional but I consider myself a highly functional alcoholic. Despite consuming an average mans daily caloretic needs in beer and cookies alone as a snack last evening, I was awake and exercising at 4 this morning.

Im 6' 2" 240lbs and quite active. Im an avid outdoorsman - hunting, fishing and camping with my kids whenever possible. My idea of a fun time is chopping wood and eating animals.

Heres a pic to add to my resume. This was 3 years ago when I was 35lbs heavier than I am now (40 if you count the pig head.)

I love that picture. Makes you look like the insane person I picture you as.
I promise I dont snarl all the time and my eyes only go crossed as im about to climax.

TMI?

Bear in mind he weighed 150 160 maybe at the time
Couple of others stand out, the guy who intihar'd an entire SNPA 12 pack, and the guy who lived near Hill Farmstead (always took high quality photos, don't think he posts here anymore) who was up drinking big ass bombers and cantillon all night then realized he had an early morning call with ppl in europe for work. Was chugging water trying to sober up.

He would post nights like this on the regs. There is one in particular I'm looking for, but it's taking forever to sift through his DDT posts.

Found it!

I dont generally believe single post pictures as proof of what someone has claimed to have drank in a stated amount of time. Its too easy to exaggerate it. Sometimes to get the full effect its best to have someone who is willingly to give realtime updates as they blast through the beers they said they are drinking....

Please note, I did not name that DDT, it was moddited.

Man, we've lost a lot of great posters over the years.

TheDuke
4balance
Bluecane
tectactoe

Just to name a few.

If anyone want a 2 Turtle Doves let me know, I think I paid $15-20 for it a few years ago. Some decent locals IPAs in that range works for me.

Knowingly selling infected beer seems pretty ****** (and for a premium, vintage price I'm guessing). The original description from the allocation email in Nov 2014 contains no reference to sour notes:
6 Geese-A-Laying is the 6th beer in our "12 Days of Christmas" series and is a return to the more classic dark and toasty winter ale, following the appropriately blonde 5 Golden Rings. Brewed with cape gooseberries, this malty ale displays notes of plums, dark cherry and bright, citrus-like flavors from the namesake berries. The bourbon barrel aged variation showcases oaky vanillin and caramel-like sweetness from a year aged in previously-used barrels.
I'm sure people will defend that it's a delicious sour now, but c'mon...

29.99 prior to society discounts

On another note, I had Hoarders Cuvee last night. God damn that is a miserable beer. Worst fears confirmed, straight trash. I loathe the blenders who created it, and the voters.

Like drinking the worst cough syrup you can think of.

I drank 2 bottles so far and would rather drink a gallon of that than 3oz of any of their sours they have released in recent memory.

Also saw that note about sour Ba 6 geese and was curious how much they were gonna charge but wasnt curious enough to actually log in and see.
