Yup, over $200 just spent for me.This month will hurt the wallet.....a lot.
just now realized that the fruit addition to hottenroth made the price double...
Great month. Any HS members have the description of Flanders Giant they can post?
I hope 2 of these beers are Mystery Beer #1 and #2
if not that means 4 new previously unlisted beers leaving 35 "excepted releases" to go in 6 months...
matt olesh said M12 is not mystery beer.

Well, everyone who drank Smooth Criminal realized that was in error. Bois Fume and Smokey and the Bois earned the **** given. It's interesting how attitudes about the Bruery's blends seem to ebb and flow. They got no end of **** for Bois Fume and Smooth Criminal, yet Melange #12 (Melange 3 with adjuncts) and Flanders Giant (a blend of undisclosed beers) have people excited. I realize that there are some differences in the two situations (namely, exclusivity and a lack of Smoking Wood in the new blends), but people got tremendously anti-blend for a while last year.
I'm not sure if it's a matter of a lot of the more vocal critics dropping out, the tone of Bruery discussions being more positive in general, or simply the specifics of the beers involved, but it's quite a shift from where things were in early 2014.
It's about time we trade again huh? I can pass one on. Lmk.Melange 12 sounds great. If anyone is passing on a bottle let me kNow and maybe we can work something out for it.
What the hell is a "baroque" beer?
I was debating whether or not to make a joke about "this month's allocations are making me baroque."ya know what they say... if it aint "baroque", don't fix it....
do we think some of the non-planned releases are replacements for beers that went south
ya know what they say... if it aint "baroque", don't fix it....
nice to have obscure child references noticed![]()
