Did you visit the tasting room this year? Could be based off people who have visited recently.
Yes, I was last there on 11/02 and have been 5 or 6 times this year.

Edit: And they've scanned my HS card every visit, so it's definitely in their system.

I gave my honest feedback, which was mostly negative. I did find it interesting that one of the questions was (between 0-10) rate the likelihood you'd recommend RS to a friend..."0", followed by something along the lines of rate the following...communication from the Bruery, ease of bottle pickup, Bruery's responsiveness to emails, etc., etc.... How about asking the questions...rate the quality of the product this year...or, rate your perceived value of the product in regards to price vs quality. To me, those are the real questions they should be asking but I think are afraid to ask. I'm not re-upping and it has zero to do with any of the questions they asked and everything to do with less than stellar beers at offensively ridiculous prices. My beer money is much better spent elsewhere!

It sounds like it was about the management and running of the program rather than the product. Which I guess would jive with the Tasting Room survey as well.

Every time I have gone to the Bruery to pick up allocations I get the question of if I emailed them about picking up the order a day in advance. Given it's often on the whim that I go, I never email in advance and the bored employee who was just sitting there listening to spotify in an empty room always gives me a rolled eyes as if I had just pissed in their cereal.

I'm never in a rush and so I just check in and then walk over to the tasting room to return 20 minutes later, when it's ready. But man, it seems that picking up your bottles is met with one method or another to make a thing out of it.

I want to like your post 50 times. It happens even when you do email in advance.

They do specifically ask for 24 hour notice, something that you sound like you are aware of, so I guess common courtesy is out the window

The only Society employee I've ever had issues with I believe is no longer there

His whole point is that even if you do email in advance (which sometimes isn't possible if you go there on a whim) generally you get attitude. I've seen it every time and I've been fortunate enough to email them every time I go up there. It's like they have no desire to do the actual job and are ticked you interrupted their relaxation time.

I may complain about the society beers, but one thing I cannot complain about are the society employees. They are super friendly and flexible with me.

I think it helps that I try to email them in advance, I am patient when picking up (will let others go in front of me as I am usually picking up for 4-7 people), and I have brought them homebrew and some out of market beer as a thank you. Overall I try to treat them as if it was a friend working there and they have treated me the same.

I will leave my survey here.
I ALWAYS try and give them a 24 hr notice before pickup and never had an issue. This is what they require and I respect them enough to follow their very easy request. I have had instances where I have had some beers in the TR and wanted to add something from their site. No problems ever.

As mentioned above, the only person that came off negative or less concerned about offering quality customer service has departed. Then again he might have had enough of nanobrew homebrews and couldn't stomach them.

Kidding nano, I wanna mail>mail you.

I stopped doing the whole 24 hour email because in the past, even with the email, they still scramble to put the box together.

And again, I often go on a whim when I'm in the area - it's also not very difficult to fill a box full of allocations, as I don't let orders go past a month or two (if I don't buy much from the month prior), so it's not like they have to dig through a big archive selection to fulfill the order.

I can understand emailing them when you're picking up 6 months worth of beer. But to pick up one/two month's worth of beer with a selection number of 4-8 different beers to put together... yeah, that's no reason why you should be pissy about having to get out of the chair and pause itunes.

Trustee is getting my bottles for me today. I have an order from last year as well and they said, "Notice is a bit short, but it should be no problem."

I've got plenty of qualms with the Bruery, but customer service isn't one of them. Well, except for that time when they issued me money back, but it had to be used for Bruery beer purchases...and there wasn't anything good to purchase so I had to dump that money on like 5 anniversary variants...wasn't a fan of that. Should have all year to use that credit code for purchases.

Btw, anyone see what Tired Hands is doing? Probably the coolest approach to a beer club yet.

The advanced email was key when I picked up ~4 cases of ~4 months of releases. Having ready around the corner from the counter was nice. Much quicker than when all I picked up 6 various bottles earlier in the year w/o notice.

So after my friend's trip up there to goandpickitupformebro, the person pulling my beers said the **** bottle was in fact coming soon. So whatever that's worth, sounds like its still on.

Hmmmm...

It's getting kinda late in the day for the Society Monday email to be lagging behind.

I'm wondering how much scrambling they're doing to figure out how the hell to end the year out for the members.

I expected the email next week. Can't recall the last email we got the first week of the month. Figure sale runs from the 8th-26th

Was thinking the same thing. It has to be today, doesn't it? Would seem to make more sense than having the last week be the week of Christmas but I'm a simpleton.

September was the only month this year when the 1st fell on a Monday, and it was a holiday. We have no pattern to go off of but considering Society Member Monday is tonight at the Bruery, I would have to assume they're planning on having the new allocations ready to taste, and therefore know what will be for sale, even if they're not ready for pickup.

Hoping they announce today or tomorrow, want time to order and receive before Christmas. Some of these should make nice gifts you know?

i'm seeing mash & grind and sourrento so far. sourrento is only 7.7% so thank ******* god it's not another infected white oak sap base.
Agreed on the ABV, but I'm kind of surprised it's 7.7% ABV. All of their other beers that use sour blonde as the base (Rueuze, Sans Pagaie, Beauregarde, Filmishmish etc.) are sub-6%. I doubt that the lemon zest or vanilla beans could explain a gain of almost 2% ABV, so I'm wondering if they blended some White Oak Sap at a reasonably low percentage.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Mash & Grind and Sourrento.

No S.H.I.T. and Hoarders beers are still coming...

I'm actually kinda bummed despite how silly it all is.
Seriously. **** was the beer I was most looking forward to, that it's apparently been shitcanned without even telling us justifies my decision to abandon ship all the more.

i guess the s.h.i.t. conspiracies are panning out to be more truth than just reckless speculation.
Yeah, I don't see any positive way to interpret the complete absence of **** from the email. The staff was supposedly telling people as recently as last week that it was coming, but something is clearly going on with it.

No Rum Autumn Maple either but that one is a little less surprising since it mysteriously vanished earlier
