Got mine today. Sure would like some Terreux info. I bought WAY less than last two years...I wonder if they're figuring lots of people are jumping ship. I was planning on not renewing but then Terreux thing interested me...and then they Hoardered me. So much torn. Very up in the air. Much hesitation. Wow.

Sigh, they just upgraded me from RS to HS. One way of thinking about this is that they're going to be trying extra hard on QC and interesting beers after this year..... uh, right?

**** it, I'm in.

well, that was sort of the mentality for this year, considering the QC issues really started in 2013. They have done nothing to make me want to fork over money for another year. I'm sitting this one out.

Did everyone get an HS invite this year? Was this all just a sneaky way for them to raise the membership prices?

I decided a while ago that I probably won't re-up unless I get the HS invite. As I understand the HS cutoff, it's the top certain percentage of RS members as far as their annual spend. So, I'm curious as what the threshold is/was for those who got the HS invite. I did not, and I'm not butt-hurt about it, nor do I feel entitled or that I deserve it. I really am just curious!

The Bruery hasn't provided this information for the last two years (there always seem to be outliers to the estimated numbers as well, so it's probably not a hard and fast formula) so I doubt they're going to provide it this year.

Got my invite today. I spent a few bucks shy of $2,000 thru September allocations ($262 in Sept in case that wasn't counted) not including the membership fee.

I live in TX but went to the tap room twice. First was Sucreversary... I bought tix, but didn't use my card at the tap room cause we were on my buddy's tab. Second time in August, I spent about $250 on pours, bottles and merchandise

I did not receive one via email...I did not plan on reupping anyways.

I haven't received the email yet either and I'm out of the country so I can't check my physical mail. It took them a bit to send out the emails last year too so I suspect that will come at a later time (assuming that current members get invites no matter what anyway).

Got my email at 3:31 PM PST so you probably either have it or will have it very shortly. Not sure exactly when my postcard came since I was out of town, but it was some time between Wednesday and Saturday.

If the Bruery can go through all these QC issues and then be picky about who they "allow" to buy $700 memberships, then their business model is absolutely unfuckwithable.

why? their QC issues, while regrettable, have resulted in refunds. people still line up to buy **** like sede vacante or whatever flat/infected **** lost abbey/HOTD/FFF puts out. when's the last time you got a refund from ANY brewery for an infected beer?

When did FFF put out a flat or infected beer?

Boulevard mailed me a check for an infected BA Imperial Stout a few years ago.:) But yeah... them an Bruery are the only one's I've gotten a refund from.

Got my re-up email for HS. Wish there was actually some information in it that might suggest why I would want to renew. (Or maybe I don't. My wallet doesn't.)
Presumably they'll have that on the 22nd.

Waiting with bated breath.

Talked to a buddy of mine that's been in RS for a yr, spent $960, went to TR for Sucre event lives in Ohio. Invited to HS.

I was in PS for a yr, RS this yr, spent over $1,600 and haven't been TR not invited. So I decided to email the bruery why I wasn't, and they gave me a nonanswer about many criteria for being invited. I think either they place a priority on TR, or rando dart board is best answer for invitation to HS.

If you really want Hoarders there are good odds that I'll be done with mine and you can just take it over. I'll let you know if that's the case.
