Brucontrol reliability for use in a 3bbl nano

Hello all

I'm looking for input (opinions) on using brucontrol in a 3bbl nano. Mostly about reliability. Would be used to run an all electric brew setup. Everything out there can have faults. Just looking for opinions unless somewhere here is using it in a nano then that I put would be great.

I am using it in a 3bbl nano... I use it for both hot side and fermenter temp control. I had to work through some spikes/ ellectrical noise issues which where caused by a combination of not having rc snubbers on my AC coils and a poor quality mechanical relay board but once I got those issues sorted out its been very solid. I have used brucontrol on my home brewery for a while (I was one of the Beta testers for it) with great results.

I,m using 2"tc based 5500w ripples I ordered from yuling on alibaba. It more than enough.. we boil at 80% max and even that is only if we are behind on boiloff.

yes only single phase.. been using one of these elements at home for almost 2 years... I bought extras in case they fail but I dont anticipate it. have brewed 4 times so far with them and will agian tomorrow. have 120a going to panel but actually only using less than 100 at any giving time. have the rims designed to work at the same time as HLT and one element automatically kicks off on the hlt when the rims is active.

honestly the boil at 60% is pretty strong. I was surprised since I though It would be lacking.

Something else I would like to do is utilize flow meters for volumes. High temp HD ekm meters. I would like to have a meter on the hlt inlet. Hlt to mash tun and mash tun to boil Kettle. Would you happen to know if I can have the meter between hlt and Mt add to the Mt volume while deducting from hlt volume?

I see that the license is for use on one pc. So if i wanted to build the controller and test it at home before moving it to the brewery I would need to have the license moved over to the brewery pc or buy another license is that correct?

Anyone happen to know of the reliability/accuracy of the pressure sensor sold on the the brucontrol website when used in the 0 - 225 gallon range? Best orientation for in a mash tun?

225 Gallon? Need to know the vertical distance from sensor to top of measured fluid.
