So I purchased some used corneys recently and on a couple you can see the rubber piece that it sits on has been glued on. I was cleaning one and it came off completely. I glued it back on with a heat gun but again after cleaning it just fell off again. Has anyone had success with any other methods of fixing this. Obviously doesn't really impact the ability for it to hold beer but would be nice to not have to worry about it.
Cheers.

I have used silicone caulk on a few of mine. Mostly on the tops. It works great and none have come loose a year later. I weigh it down with a cement block for a day to cure.

Same thing happened to one of my kegs. I just used duct tape and it's lasted for over 5 years now. I don't usually scrub down the outsides of my kegs between batches though. . .
