OK so this might seem like a stupid question, but since I have a bit of OCD and cant figure it out, I figured to ask the pros. OK so I broke my hydrometer in my botteling bucket (was usint it to clean after a brew session). I think its made of glass. so I rinsed out the bucket, turned it upside down and tapped it, and ran my hand along the inside feeling for any leftover particles. and rinsed it out again, and again, and again. so do I still use the bucket to bottle my beer? or do I toss it...

yeah... thanx. I rinsed and washed several times. I guess you can go overboard with cleanliness, but I figured you cant be too safe with glass. I moved forward with the bottling process. I remebered I used to work at a liquor store and guys used to step in crap, then step on open cases of beer cans and then sell them to customers.... In all if its not sealed and certified by a factory who knows what happened with your item before you recieved it. Thanks for the reply.. :mug:
