Brewing with figs, looking for suggestions!

I'm thinking of brewing a milk stout or a wheat beer and adding figs. I would like advice on how much and when to add the figs. Brewing 5 gallon batch. Suggestions??? Thanks

As long as the result is not the same as drinking stout while eating figgy pudding. tastes great but oh boy some hellacious gas
