Howdy Folks!

Duke here, just another homebrewer from Oregon. Now that I've gone through my super mega rookie year in which all manner of things I could have possibly done wrong, went wrong, I figured it's time to meet other homebrewers out there. :mug:

Year two is looking pretty darn productive with the completion of my first Belgian Tripel. Hoping by the end of this year to have figured out my own special little IPA recipe.

Outside of brewing I hike, bike, and game.

Welcome! :mug:

Greetings from the East Coast, specifically, the original and still best Portland. ;)

Welcome. And, it's fun to brew when it's raining or snowing.

(Coming from someone lucky enough to have a garage to brew in).

The first one was just practice. The second one is where it's at. :mug:
I kid, I kid.
Portland, Oregon is like Portland, Maine had a kid, and now that kid is taller than us. And we're like, congratulations buddy, we're so proud of you, but also why don't you call us more often? We're worried about you.

I need to go find myself. You know, figure out what makes me, me. I can't do that under your shadow. It's not that I don't think about you. It's just that I need to start thinking about myself. I think you raised me right with a good arsenal of morals and values. Please just allow me to take those life tools and build something. I'll write again when I find work.

Yeah, but our Portland is mainstream which is beautiful hipster irony.

I'll write again when I find work.

Pretty much Portland in a nutshell.

I learned that my sanitizing fluids are so good they sanitized all the worms dead during one rainy day.
