So, I did my first brew a year or so ago, swung hard, went all grain, and the product was disappointing (via sparge issues) (and a lack of carbonation). I hadn't brewed again till about a month and a half ago with the extract and steeped grain method, and even though I thought I made just as many mistakes as I did last time, the beer was bangin'. I was impressed, friends were impressed, ego was stroked, I am inspired. Found this forum because I was looking for info on yam's in beers (my last brew) and one of the member here had done it. The rest is history.

Cheers,
- Will
