Brewers Edge Kettles

Saw these kettles listed on Williams Brewing web site. The only downside mentioned in the reviews was material thickness, but the gave no info on the bottom construction. Anyone have any experience or opinions of them?

Without knowing what size you are looking for, the ones at williams brewing are a little pricy. Check these out: http://www.austinhomebrew.com/index.php?cPath=178_33_463 Also, the brewers edge pots don't even have a clad bottom. That's something you want especially if you are going to be making a big batch where you need a propane burner.

Thanks-Thats what I wanted to know. I do use a propane burner but I have a 3/16 thick piece of steel I use as a diffuser on the stock pot I use now. Works OK but I'd like something bigger and better,8 to 10 gallon

Go for a 62qt. You'll be able to do a vigorous boil for a ten gallon batch.
