Brewers Best Holiday Ale

Hello:
I am just getting back into brewing after about 15 years. I am starting with Brewers Best Holiday Ale. My question concerned the spice packet. Do I put the spices in a grain bag or just through them in. And if it is the former, when do I take them out.

Are they ground up? I’ve always added ground spices at flame out directly, no bag.

Thanks - they are roughly ground. I think they would have said put them in a bag, if that was the direction. Cheers.

I think the Brewer's Best kits assume you won't be going out to buy extra equipment (bags) for this, so you should be fine to just add the spice directly.

By holiday do you mean Christmas? If so just throw your spices in for the last10 minutes.
