I didn't take any pictures today- but I burned my hands and legs when a ball valve was partially opened when I took off a hose. It's sort of ugly. My legs aren't too bad, but the majority of my right hand is bright red, some of it is blistering and a couple of spots on my left hand look pretty bad too.

I must had made a noise when it happened, because my husband came running and said, "What did you do?" like I do it all the time. :drunk: He said, "Is it bad?" and I said, "No" as I was running cold water over both of my hands. Then he said, "It's not too good, is it?" and I said, "nope". But I did finish the brewday except for the complete clean up.

But here is what my brewery looks like:

I'd be interested in a setup like yours. Did you find plans online anywhere or did design it all yourself? it's pretty much everything i'm looking for!

It's been a work in process. I first bought someone else's set up, but then took it completely apart and made it totally different after using it for a while.

My friend @lschiavo is an electrical contractor and electrical engineer, and he built the control panel and much of the HLT and MLT. I added a second pump, and we made the MLT a tippy dump- those changes were fairly recent. I do 10 gallon batches mostly but that system will do 5, 7, or 10.

This is my HLT/boil kettle. It's supposed to be electric, but I got impatient before the 240 line is in... I'm working on another one for the BK, as using one for both means no hot water for cleaning outside.

I just brewed up the Spiced Cherry Dubbel from Randy Mosher's book Radical Brewing.

The Crush (pretty fine crush but most of that on top is flour that stuck to the mill)
