Hello! Just purchased a Brew Magic System from a guy and trying to start brewing with it. We have the manual, have seen some videos and threads online, but no one has mentioned anything about wort left over at the bottom of the kettle. Since the pump pulls from the side of the boiling kettle, approx 5 inches from the bottom, does the homebrewer just leave the remaining at the bottom and sacrafice it or what?

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but we are just starting out and the manual it comes with really doesn't provide the best/clearest instructions on the Brew Magic uses.

Thanks in advance

Hey Shaw,

We did not have the pick up tube connected, we received a big box of tons of parts to the brew magic and did not know we could connect the tubes on the inside of the kettle. Thanks so much more responding, that's a huge help. We might hit you up again soon, thanks again!

Rob

In case that wasn't clear, you can attach a piece of tubing to the inside of the kettle on the other side of the valve you're draining from. Google "dip tube" and get one if you don't have one. They look like this: https://www.nexternal.com/hombre/images/diptube.jpg and will get almost all the wort from your kettle.

[edit] Nm, looks like you got it!
