What I mean is usually my grain packs down a bit but this time it looked like a perfect smooth rounded sheet cake. It only had a gap around the outside of about a half inch. I was just worried that I might have lost out on some sugars because the water just ran down the sides even though I used a strainer to "make it rain" when I sparged.
