Hey guys so i just got a brew boss used kettle with the automated controller. The app on the google play store doesn't work and i heard that i have to download it from somewhere else. Does anyone have a link to the download?

Change the file type of either of the attached files from txt to apk. I'm running the 2.10 version sideloaded on an Amazon Fire 10. I've found no issues so far on my new-to-me v1 Brew-Boss controller, but I've only run it a 4-5 times (including tests) since I got it just after xmas.

i can't get the file to convert to apk. Do you know anything I might be missing? Thanks.

Hmmm...it works for me. I hover over the attachment, right-click, 'save link as', change file type from 'txt' to 'apk'.


Or you can just 'save as', download the txt file, and then change the file type after it's on your computer. Copy that apk file to your tablet and install by sideloading. Maybe this only works if you have file name extensions visible in windows explorer view options, can't recall.

Alternatively, I've added my little collection of Brew-Boss files to my Gdrive...I'm not sure how long this will be available, so get it while you can!
