i know they work well for 5 gallon batches on a better bottle/bucket... but how well do they work on a 10-11 gallon batch, possibly in a sanke?
it'll be stored in a mini fridge so there wont be much space around it, so in theory, it should work well, but i can't find anything around the internets that shows it has been tried yet.

If I remember right, they're only about 15 watts. We tried using one in a mini-fridge in a cool (60's) area to keep temps up on a saison. Couldn't get over 68-70 degrees. This was for a 5 gallon batch.

I have been able to get 5 gallon batches into the mid 90's (almost 30 above ambient) in my mini fridge with a reptile heating pad that is only 24 watts. I imagine you can do it with 10-15 gallon batches as well
