Hey gang,
I recently started my first ever brew. I got a DIY kit for Christmas and just followed the instructions that came with it. I absolutely had a blast and cannot wait for the fermentation to complete so can see if my product was successful. While I waiting I have been scouring the Internet and brew forums trying to plan my next project.
I would like to know what tips, equipment, and recipes you all have and and would like to share with an aspiring brewer like me.
By my very nature, I want to go all in immediately. However, I know that I should take it easy and enjoy learning the curve. Any help or suggestions?

Turn back while you still have money and free time!!!!

Get yourself a 20qt. brew pot, start with some extract kits from a local brew supplier, move on to utilizing popular recipes and let the brewing equipment collection mount.

Welcome, dude. Enjoy the ride. Keep you hands and feet inside the car until the ride comes to a complete stop.

Perfect advice except I would go with a much larger pot I would say 30qt as an absolute minimum. It may be a little bit of over kill now but you will appreciate it later.

Read read read knowledge is power and in this hobby the more you have the better your finished product. When you start investing money, come here to know what is the most important and what can wait till the next bonus check.

Nice - welcome aboard!

The one thing that I can tell you is - find your local water dispenser located in your town and use it until you get your own carbon filter. If your first batch ends up tasting like a band aid - it was most likely your water.

This entire art/science is all about process. There are many many layers and different directions to go in... my advice to this is just do your homework first and think about the growth in your system/process as you go.

Lol - does it stop?

Nope, it picks up speed and costs more and more money!
