my sister's friend is giving me a 2nd year fuggle, and i'll probably be snagging it on wednesday. apparently, it's already like 6 feet tall. /bragging. now, the question is this: is there any more to transplaniting it than dig it out, put it in some amended soil, watering it in and getting it trained on the new line?

You got it! Don't worry about busting up the existing growth. Most likely it will throw out a few new shoots sometime soon. If that doesn't happen some new buds on the broken vines will start to climb shortly. Now go have a beer, it's already after noon where I live!
