Long story short this was my first attempt at all grain brewing and anticipating boil off I ended up with about an extra gallon of brew. Below is the recipe I used and I did this on Tuesday. My thought is to rack off one gallon to glass jug I have when I'm transferring to my bottling bucket. After doing some research I'm going to go with .5ounces American Medium Toast Oak soaked in Makers Mark 47 for a couple weeks. The plan is to keep in secondary for 6 weeks. What do ya'll think?
