never seen this at the bottom of one of my bottles but it is consistent across all on this batch. Doesn’t even try to move when turn sideways. Thoughts? It is a NEIPA. My 7th ever bottled batch.
The first IPA I brewed had a ton of sediment in it, just like that. Several of the bottles also ended up being gushers.
It would have been good if I didn't undercarb.Were they still good at all? I’ve made a ton of kegged IPAs just never a bottled one.
If you kicked up some of the sediment when transferring to bottling vessel, that would do it. That's just yeast, protein and hops settling out. The bottom of my neipa primary bucket has got to be 3-4 inches think. Not unusual to have dropping out in bottles.Bottled after 12 days. Have a brew bucket and with these, as long as stable gravity, have not had true issues in kegging at same date. Continually thinking about how I may have gone out of normal process and messed it up.
