Bottom of bottle broke!

Hi guys!

I bottled a batch about two weeks ago, and today I tried to move the box where the bottles were and there was a strange odor.
So decided to check the googles out and lo and behold, one of the bottles had broken, but it was the bottom part that broke!
Clean break, the top part still sitting on the bottom part.
The box got the major part of the beer but some got to the floor anyways....
They were ez-cap's 1L bottles.
Anyone had this problem before?

I've had it happen once or twice. It seems to vary from bottle to bottle, but I've had breaks at both extremes: top or bottom, periodically.
