I have just attempted to bottle some beer and got through 36 bottles before I sneezed and my siphon cane went shooting across the fermenter! So all the rubbish that was on the bottom of the FV got mixed up! So my Q now is is there a way to save the last 5L? Can I just leave it to settle overnight and bottle the rest in the morning?

The priming sugar will start fermenting out overnight. You'd have to reprime the remainder. It shouldn't take more than an hour or so to settle out again. Finish bottling asap.

I used carbonation drops in the bottles so won't need to re-prime. I was very concerned about leaving it too long in the FV.... I've put the lid back on and airlock back in place.
