Bottled beer in Tampa area

Don't forget Dunedin or Pegs in Pinellas Co, and Tampa Bay brewing in Ybor. Also Southern Brewing Supply on nebraska is a great source for all your needs and has a nice selection of bottled as well as drafts on hand.

And how else could you pronounce Jai-Alai? Used to play the game --I guess it's one of those things that has gone the way of Johnny Carson--if you're not over 40-45 years old you have no idea what it is/was.

Where in Tampa Bay are you? Pinellas or Hillsborough?

I live near downtown St. Pete, and there are actually a ton of small microbreweries and craft beer bars around town. Moreso in Pinellas than Hillsborough, actually. There have actually been several national articles by the Huffington Post and New York Times stating that Tampa Bay is the hotbed for the craft beer industry in the Southeast. Mostly because our laws were so f'd up until 2002 that we're just now starting to play catch up to the rest of the civilized beer drinking world.

If you live near St. Pete, you should drop in on one of our brewclub meetings. Meeting 2nd Saturday of each month, group brewday 4th Saturday of each month. Our club founder owns one of the local microbreweries (just named best new brewery in FL), Rapp Brewing in Pinellas Park.

Well if you are unfamiliar with the fact that it is a Spanish name. J would be hard like January or James or Jack.

Sipping a jai alai right now. Tried the white oak as well. Not as big a fan of the white oak jai alai. It is more a pale ale than an iPa. Trying elephant foot next.
