Bottle Conditioning Edwort's

I'm going to help a buddy do a batch of Edwort's Apfelwien and I have a simple question:

How long will this stuff need to sit in the bottle?

I want to let my friend know how long this process will take before he has a consumable product. He has never brewed anything before.

IMHO it's drinkable about 4-6 weeks after pitching but it doesn't come into its own for about 6 months.
