The 12 Brewers of Christmas

It’s that time of year again. There’s a nip in the air, and some of us are feeling a little guilty for not being as generous as we should have been the previous 11 months. Thankfully, there’s an annual event in Boston where you can get stupid drunk on amazing craft beers all while donating to Toys for Tots. Can’t beat that!

It’s called the 12 Brewers of Christmas, and it takes place at the Meadhall in Cambridge.

Thursday, 12/18 is the main event. All 100 taps at Meadhall are taken over by the 12 participating breweries, not to mention the 10 extremely rare kegs that will be tapped at the bar on the Mezzanine level of the restaurant. In the private dining room next to the Mezzanine bar there’s a silent auction full of brewery swag, and proceeds from that are, you guessed it, donated to Toys for Tots.

At 5:00, $10 OR a toy for donation gets you in the door. All new, wrapped/sealed toys are accepted, however Toys for Tots will not accept/distribute realistic-looking toy weapons or any items that contain food.

According to Josh Witkowski, beer manager at Meadhall, the beer list for 12/18 is 95% confirmed. But, **** happens, so the list is subject to change:

lol, i can't imagine the shitshow going on there right now.
 
I kinda wanted to try CBS. When it was fresh a few years ago it was so damn good, unfortunately it fell off a cliff after that. Too bad all these tappings in the area are gonna be absolutely stupid.
