Just did my 3rd biab. Lhbs double crushed my grains this time for my dry Irish stout. After the boil I noticed a decent amount of grain bits at the bottom of the pot. Do I need to strain these? Or just leave em in? I have a 400 micron strainer that fits over a 5 gallon bucket, so I could do it easily if I need too.

Perfection would say take them out, but I would guess you wouldn't notice the dfference.

What kind of bag did you use? A finer poly voile bag will filter the grain better.
