Blowoff tube came out.

Hefeweizen on day six of fermenting and I realize this morning that the blowoff tube came off. Must have been that way overnight. I have one of those orange carboy caps. So the skinny stem was sitting there opened inside my brew bag. Think the chances for infection are high?

Nah. There's positive pressure in the fermenter, so there'll be a draft coming out of the stem. That'll keep bad stuff from getting in. I bet you're just fine.

True. I make hef as my house beer and often times my blow off tube comes off at night. So much activity with the yeast, nothing will get in.
