Blow off ?

Ok so this is my first beer with a blow off tube and I was just curious if this looks alright.

I didn't want to cut the tube shorter just in case someday I need it longer.

That's fine. The length of the hose shouldn't matter at all.

Looks ok, though I tend to have my blow off tube not go up so much before the blow off starts travelling down.

I rigged this up as I couldn't find a tube to fit the BB neck all that well.

A little teflon tape increases the size of the neck fitting to lock it in quite well.

Good call first time with carboy good thing there is no direct sunlight in that room.

I think I may need to rig up a blow off tube for my next batch. What size hose did you use? And, where did you purchase it? Tanx, in advance.

It's the right size to just push into it.
