Blow off tube question

I'm doing my second batch of beer (a pale ale) and used a blow off tube just in case. Well it was definately needed. My question is, is all of the krausen going into the small jug taking away from anything? It smells strong like hops.
I didnt know if the krausen is an important aid in the taste.

Don't worry.
It won't hurt a bit. If you're worried about losing hop flavor, don't be. The alpha acids were already isomerized by the boil and are a part of the wort.
