blow off tube question

have a blow off tube going from carboy to growler filled with starsan. had a huge blowoff to which the tube and growler are partially filled with yeast. is it ok to leave it like this till kegging or at some point should i clean the tube and re-fill the growler with starsan? if so, at what point should i change all this? im 5 days into fermentation and its still kicking like crazy...

Keep it as is, unless you need to clean up the area. After it has stopped, put a clean airlock on it. Or clean/sanitize the blow off and put that back on if you want.

Are you sure its yeast and not trub from the kettle? I never strain out the hop particles so my krausen can get pretty gross. I would probably leave it myself (or just change the water) but if youre worried about it and your beer is still fermenting change it now if you dont think itll get caught in the tube again. The new Co2 from it fermenting would keep gushing through protecting your beer anyways.

that happens to me with most of my bigger beers.. i just wait until the bubbling is much slower and swap a 3piece onto it.. you should be fine

do you think i could risk infection if i just left it till kegging? even though there is yeast/trub in the tube and growler, the blow-off tube is going into now cloudy starsan
