So my Belgian Witbier has been fermenting in a Blichmann Conical for over a week now. As it finished fermenting I moved to fermenter to my garage where it could cold crash (its roughly 40 degrees in there) and added Gelatin Finings to help clear. It sat in there for 2 days. As I opened the bottom dump valve I didnt notice any actul trub coming out of the bottom, a very very small amount. After that it was beer. Is it possible that the trub could be sticking to the side of the conical? What should I do? Should I bring it back inside and let it warm up? I am trying to use this vessel as a primary and secondary fermenter. Any suggestions? Anyone with experience with this machine that could help me out?
