Has anyone had an opportunity to utilize this grain as of yet.
I am preparing to brew a stout and thinking about trying a couple oz in the grain bill.

Thanks in advance!

I've not used it, but it sounds like a Chocolate malt and most probably will not be very different.

I've tried Chateau ( Castle ) Cafe Light which was 95L in a few beers and was very smooth and together with Brown malt, added a subtle coffee note, pleasent dryness.

But a couple of oz will not make a difference in a Stout, where you have Roasted Barley and most likely some other Chocolate malt and Crystal. If you want to know what it brings, a Porter with maybe 5-10% of this stuff will tell you what it does and how it tastes.

I have a 5 lb bag, but not used any yet. Would be interested in any comments. It is just chocolate malt, not expecting anything particularly exciting, but not expecting any issues.
