Recently tried this from our local spirits store, he's got a great beer cooler.

German pilsner, got it in the 8 pack can - half liter packaging.

Not bad. It was a little bitey at first I thought. I'm wondering it might be because of the cans. Half liter cans make for a fun time trying find a glass that'll take it. While I wouldn't want to drink this all the time, I think picking up a pack every now and then would be good.

Anyone else try this?
 
Yeah, Bitburger has a 3 bottle rule too. After 3 bottles they start to taste good. :cross: :cross:
 
Bitburger is one of the three big 'national' beers in Germany, along with Warsteiner and Becks. Tastes pretty good- after one too many Jever.
 
I used to drink Bitburger all the time when I was living in Germany. Loved the stuff. But I was 14 and hadn't yet been introduced to stouts.
