Cheers Guys! I've just got my plum wine into secondary and another cider into primary since I got home from work and have just finished cleaning up. I'll get round to downing a few ciders now to celebrate!:mug:

In defence of Caplan, you used too many commas, in, that, burn,. Besides, Cap set a brother up with good beer in London once...

I think you will find that my punctuation was perfect. Can any English teachers back me up?

This Checyo guy.... pffft.

You forgot a comma. And you call this YOUR language! Hah!
Isn't the 'Full Stop' followed by 'And' a grammatical error in English? And how about a question mark instead of the exclamation mark after language?

I never asked whether you managed to get a decent Pint (in/out of Gatwick/Heathrow - Can't remember which way and which airport!). What did you do? Also did you ever dare drink palm wine in Africa?

Not anymore. Starting a sentence with a conjunction is considered acceptable now.

It wasn't a question. It was a statement of disgust. :)

I was heading back to Canada from Africa and I had a night in London. I ended up going to a pub called The White Horse and drank my fill of real ale. It was a total blast, we watched one of the world cup matches (but missed the England game.) My fave real ale was -prepare to flame me- Fuller's London Pride. FLP had everything I was after, hoppy, not too bitter and all around yummy after 5 weeks in sub-Saharan Africa. Thanks for that pub-finder link!

"And" is a conjunction. What are you joining?

Didn't you watch "Schoolhouse Rock" when you were a kid?
