There are several places selling them so either they are still being made or some suppliers have a big inventory to get rid of. Oops, I see they are glass. Were they having problems with the plastic ones?

Google is your friend.

I think they stopped making them, as they were having difficulties getting them to seal properly. You can still find some 1.4 gallon versions, but that's all. Most people I know who use fermenters like that use the Fermonster now.

I've still got several out in my shed, but I haven't used them in years. Don't remember having issues with sealing, but I mostly used them for fermentation, with secondary in glass carboys. Quit doing that nearly 10 years ago when I went all-in with stainless steel fermenters and a unitank. Never looked back. Neither did I get rid of the Big Mouth, and Spiedel fermenters, along with 7 or nine (?) 5 gallon, 6 gallon and 6.5 gallon glass carboys, but they get used for bulk aging of wines before bottling.

I have a 6.5 gallon Big mouth Bubbler with a harness, which I do not use anymore. I'm willing to sell it. I believe that it was one of the original versions.

I remember all kinds of posts about BMB lid issues with the plastic version. All I can remember about the glass version was how stupid thin they were and how people were getting mauled when they broke...

Cheers!
