I found only one recipe for raison d'etre and it called for white labs Bastogne Belgian Ale WLP510 or Wyeast Belgian Ardennes (3522). I cant find the white labs and my chances of getting 3522 are slim. However i dont think this recipe has been fully perfected so maybe those are not the best options. Is there something else that would work? I have access to both WLP500 and WLP530 and probably some wyeast as well.

i know one of the brewers at Dogfish we've talked about the yeast they use and i seem to recall Ardennes being used for a number of their brews, Raison being one of them.. i think sam's telling the truth!

I made a modified version of this yesterday and I am using Wyeast Whitbread for it. I know it is going to give a much different flavor contribution than a belgian yeast would, but I'm expecting some fruitiness.
